Mince beef 224g (that's 46g protein.  Nibbled during the 25-minute commuting drive from the gym)

12:30pm
A salad with low carbs - all vegetables raw, prepared last night at home and kept in the fridge overnight, but not in the fridge at work - I prefer to eat salads at room temperature)
asparagus spears 75g (raw)
avocado 150g
broccoli florettes, steamed 104g
capsicum - red 182g
cress 42g
mushroom 100g
snow peas 114g (raw)
rocket 52g
two 110g tins Coles sardines in olive oil (a total of 36g protein)

7:30pm  Carb-load meal
Starches:
(these are sliced and baked in a cast-iron casserole for an hour at 220 degrees Celsius - nothing added: no oil, water, nothing)

Raw fruit:
plums 728g - today I made the mistake of eating 24 plums before I started the starches.  The starches were a struggle to get down! - but the later plums were easy
prickly pear fruit 180g


The tally for the full day was:

A total of 3166 calories
